U.S. Air Force honors Outstanding Security Forces Airmen at AFA – 908th SFS

Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody, left, poses with Staff Sgt. Kresston Davis, Marillyn Hewson, CEO of Lockheed Martin and Scott Van Cleef, Air Force Association Chairman of the Board. Hewson and Van Cleef had just presented Davis with her Outstanding Airman of the Year plaque and a certificate for a lifetime AFA membership. The Air Force Association officially recognized Davis Sept. 14 as one of the 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year for 2015. Davis, from the 908th Airlift Wing’s Security Forces Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, received her plaque as a part of the association’s annual conference at the Gaylord Hotel in Washington D.C. Davis said participating in the 12 Outstanding Airmen events has allowed her to do things she probably never would have had the opportunity to do. She said she has met many leaders from across the Air Force as well as those from business and government. (US Air Force photo/Lt Col Jerry Lobb)
